This is due to the need for exchange of data on the current route of the driver, his/her conditions, status, time of arrival, etc., as well as with advanced features for communication and organization of communication between the drivers and dispatcher. This functionality is possessed by the entire range of CityGUIDE navigation products.

After installation of CityGUIDE and registration in the ‘Friends’ service you will have the possibility to add your friends (CityGUIDE users) and track their location, current route and conditions of movement along the route. You can exchange text messages with them, send them destination points and communicate in a voice chat. This service is provided free of charge.

• Mobile app

  In this case, it is sufficient to find or specify a pickup address on the map and then select the ‘send the finish’ function through the context menu. A list of friends, sorted by the time of arrival, will be generated on the screen. All that is left to do is to choose a contractor and click on the relevant item in the list. The destination point will be sent to your colleague and a route to the specified finish will be made in his/her application, but you will have the possibility to trace the movement of the selected object.

• WIN SDK

  Similar possibilities are available in our SDK, which is intended for use in general-purpose dispatch programs. To do this, the function of calculating the route between two points is used via which it is possible to consistently make all the routes from potential contractors to the point of pickup and choose the shortest (or the fastest) one.

• WEB API

  Modern cloud solution for maintaining a high computing load. The functional is extended with special functions for calculating the ‘star’ type routes and the availability of batch modes for query processing to minimize the response time as much as possible.

• Online map and flexible search

  These functions are available through the WEB API. Direct and reverse geocoding is supported, and in some cities the address base is provided accurately to within an apartment and an entrance.

While doing so, the program also informs the driver about the most significant factors taken into account when making the route, specifically turnpike roads, unsurfaced road, etc.
